VanguardsLab (vanguardslab.com, "we", "the site") is a fan-made team builder for the Roblox game Vanguards. This policy explains what data we handle and your choices. Contact: matiaslandi.dev@gmail.com.

What we collect

• Without an account: nothing is required. Your current team is saved only in your browser's local storage (animeVanguardsTeam) and is never sent to us unless you publish it.
• When you log in with Discord: through Discord OAuth (scope identify) we receive and store your Discord user ID, username and avatar. We do not receive your email, password or messages.
• Discord server check: to allow publishing, our backend checks whether your account is a member of the VanguardsLab Discord server. Only the result is used.
• Content you create: published teams, team names, tags, comments, votes and favorites, linked to your account. Published teams and comments are public.
• Technical data: our hosting and backend providers may process your IP address and request logs for security and operation.

How we use it

To authenticate you, show your name and avatar next to your teams and comments, count votes and favorites, prevent abuse, and operate the site. We do not sell your personal data.

Service providers

• Supabase - database, authentication and backend functions.
• Discord - login and server membership.
• GitHub Pages - website hosting.
• Google AdSense - advertising on some pages (see below).
• cdnjs / jsDelivr - delivery of open-source scripts.

Advertising and cookies

We use essential browser storage (login session, your saved team). Some pages show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted. You can manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com and learn more at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. Where required (for example in the EEA, UK and Switzerland), you will be asked for consent before personalized ads are used.

Retention and deletion

We keep your account data and content until you ask us to delete it. To delete your account and everything linked to it (profile, teams, comments, votes, favorites), email us at the contact address above, or message us on the Discord server, and we will do it within a reasonable time (typically 30 days). You can also delete your own published teams from the "My Teams" page and clear your browser's local storage at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Email us to exercise these rights. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

The site is not directed to children under 13, and Discord requires users to be at least 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13; contact us if you believe we have.

International transfers

Our providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States.

Changes

We may update this policy; the date above shows the latest version. Continued use means you accept the updated policy.
